Just finish a remodel project and now you have a bunch of still useful (but not to you) items to get rid of?

Have a garage overflowing with "junk"?

Can't find a home for your old couch, but hate to send it off to live for all eternity in the landfill?

Well have we got the solution for you!!!! We moderate Summit County's own Freecycle group-

SUMMIT FREECYCLE NETWORK!

Freecycling connects you with free stuff
or with people looking to take your unwanted stuff
AND best of all- it keeps it all out of our landfills!!!

The Freecycle Network is a grassroots movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. Each local group is run by a local moderator (SRP here!). Membership is free and absolutely everything posted must be free as well.

Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano, or an old door to be given away, it can be posted on the network. Or, maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself? Respond to a posting that catches your eye and you just might be the next owner. After that it is up to the giver to set up a pickup time/place for passing on the treasure. It is that simple!!!

Non-profit organizations, schools and businesses are welcome to offer free stuff too- or to take free stuff.

The rules? NO ADVERTISING! NO POLITICS! NO ILLEGAL OFFERS! and ALL AGES APPROPRIATE! That's it!
