As of January 1st, 2006
Summit Recycling Project became a project
of the new parent organization,
High Country Conservation Center.
Although the county now oversees the actual recycling operations, we
provide the education and public awareness programs for those operations.
In addition to continuing our work on waste reduction issues, we also work on
Green Building, Efficient & Renewable Energy and other resource conservation
topics. Our new website under our new name will soon be up and operating-
until then continue to visit us here.
And in case you are wondering the Tim McClure Memorial Benefit
will still be held this year as will the Earth Day Action Fair,
Green Scene Awards and our many other popular events!
